The 106 page report is a 50/50 mix of deep dives into programs CARB spearheads and an extensive appendix of compliance penalties and statistics.

In 2021, the total number of closed enforcement actions 2,746 with total penalties assessed was $18,270,417. The appendix’s break down individual program statistics by category, project details (funding and summaries), violators and settled penalties, compliance calculations and rates, 2021 minimum and maximum penalties by category.
