Help Shape California’s Hydrogen Future: Community Meetings

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) invites you to participate in a community meeting to support the development of a report on hydrogen production and use in California, as called for by Senate Bill (SB) 1075 (Skinner, Chapter 363, Statutes of 2022). SB 1075 requires an evaluation of hydrogen production, transmission, distribution, and end use to accelerate progress toward the State’s climate and energy goals. CARB welcomes your thoughts, experience, and perspectives on hydrogen fuels and future development.

Proposed Revisions to the Carl Moyer Program for Off-Road Equipment, Locomotives, Marine Vessels, Lawn and Garden Equipment Replacement, and to Initiate a 45-Day Public Comment Period

These updates are intended to clarify and expand funding opportunities for zero-emission (ZE) projects, align the Moyer Program Guidelines with recent CARB regulatory developments, and ensure continued commitment with Executive Order N-27-25. The changes also address feedback received from stakeholders. As a result of these collaborative efforts, and under authority delegated to the Executive Officer, CARB staff are proposing these guideline revisions for public consideration.

Discuss Concepts for the Statewide Clean Aviation Initiative

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) invites you to participate in a second public workshop to discuss concepts for the Statewide Clean Aviation Initiative (SCAI). Some of the concepts that will be discussed include strategies to reduce emissions from Auxiliary Power Units (APU), transitioning to zero-emission Ground Support Equipment (GSE), and operational strategies to reduce emissions from aircraft taxiing, takeoffs, and landings.

Evening Community Meeting: Clean transportation Incentives

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) hosts monthly evening community meetings to provide updates on Clean Transportation Incentives. During these meetings, CARB staff will discuss updates about incentive project funding and implementation for zero-emission transportation and mobility projects. These projects help improve air quality and reduce the impacts of climate change. We encourage community members to ask questions, provide suggestions, and give input on their clean transportation needs.
